WELCOME to the family of God!
Now that you are born again (John 3: 3), major things have taken place in the spiritual realm beginning with the (Titus 3:5) regeneration of what was your dead human spirit. You have received the promised eternal life necessary for your soul with its everlasting life to live in fellowship with God now, and upon departing this earth.
No matter what you do or fail to do from this point on, nothing can undo the saving work of God that has already been done for you.
If you now choose or later choose to “walk with the Lord“, you will come to a fork in the road. At this fork you will be forced to make a decision to take one of the two paths before you.
The majority of believers will take the one that leads them or returns them to the route of religion and good human deeds in an attempt to retain the salvation that actually cannot be lost.
Religion consists of all that Man has added to what the Word of God has authorized or teaches. Religion appeals to the fallen nature in Man as it appears to provide Man with the SELF means of making and keeping himself right with God.
Satan, primarily through religion, offers a counterfeit for virtually everything that God has established and has revealed to us in Scripture, beginning with the means to receive and to retain salvation.
If/when you enter into discipleship by continuing (John 8:31) in HIs Word, you will develop the spiritual discernment required to bolster your faith concerning the permanency of your salvation and to separate what is "religious" from what is spiritual.
Only a minority of believers will take the one that will take them along the route of the TRUE post-salvation spiritual life that has got NOTHING to do with the retaining of salvation, as salvation cannot be lost.
Relatively "good" behavior will be one of the RESULTS of identifying and pursuing the true post salvation spiritual life, but NEVER the means to achieve it.
Those who identify and execute the true post salvation spiritual life are not any more saved that other born again believers, but they are the believers who will fulfill the very purpose that God created Man, which is to glorify Him.
