The Gospel Message

The Gospel Message is a part of the Doctrine of Salvation.

The Doctrine of Salvation goes into much greater detail than the Gospel Message itself.

The Doctrine of Salvation contains many terms and principles that can not be understood by a soul that is spiritually dead and under the control of the fallen nature that is hostile (Romans 8:7) towards God and the things of God.

The Gospel Message was NEVER intended to be a complicated matter, but one that is so plain it leaves those who are presented with the clear option of believing it or rejecting it.

Ever since the Fall of Man, a spiritually dead condition is passed down to the humanity of the next generation of Man at the moment of conecption (Psalms 51:4).

The fallen nature and the humanity that is conceived becomes a part of the individual when God creates the soul and imputes it to the body when the body is brought forth at birth (Gen. 2:7).

There was and is NOTHING that Man, apart from God, can do about the spiriual death that is passed down to him/her.

Accordingly, the Second Member of the Trinity, God the Son, took on the form of Humanity at the First Advent (Christmas) and with the exception of the sin of disbelief, paid the sin debt of the entire human race (1John 2:2) via the three hours of spiritual death while physically alive and on the cross (from 12-3pm).

Spiritual death is state of conscious existence while out of fellowship with God.

Our Lord’s physical death was the means by which He (and we) depart this world. His resurrection provided tangible proof to selected witnesses that His work on the cross was fully accepted by God the Father.

When a unbeliever, something that we all come into the world as, BELIEVES in a presentation of the Gospel, he/she is saved from having to spend all of eternity in what the Bible calls the lake of fire.

The Lake of Fire, initially prepared for the Devil and the fallen angels will be the eternal destination for human souls who reject a presentation of the Gospel Message and leave this world as spiritually dead as they were on the day of their birth.

Those who BELIEVE the Gospel Message, encapsulated in John 3:16, are FOREVER saved from an eternity separated from God in what the Bible calls the lake of fire (Rev. 20: 13, 15).

There is nothing more required on the part of Man to be forever saved than to BELIEVE the Gospel Message. No sinner’s prayer. No walking down aisles, No “religious” ritual(s). No asking of Jesus to come into one’s heart, etc., etc., etc..

Scripture (John 15:5) makes it clear that apart from God, Man can do nothing. Until one is already saved, he does not have access to the power of God to accomplish anything in the spiritual realm.

The “baptism” by God the Holy Spirit that forever seals (identifies) the born again believer as a child of God and the regeneration of the dead human spirit is all the Work of God the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5) that a-u-t-o-m-a-t-i-c-a-l-l-y takes place in response to a decision to BELIEVE the Gospel Message.

In addition to being SAVED, the BELIEVER is given the ETERNAL life of God necessary for the soul to live in fellowship with God, now, and upon departing this earth when the soul leaves the body at the moment of natural death.

How important is the Gospel Message?

There is NO forgiveness, now or at any time in Eternity, for those who reject a presentation of the Gospel Message.

Those who disbelieve it are just as assured of an eternity in the lake of fire as those who believe are assured of an eternity with God in Heaven.

Having nw heard or read this presentation, you are among those who can no longer claim to have never be told of the Gospel and are either among those who have been saved and are headed for Heaven, or you are among those who are still headed for the lake of fire.
